Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's produced, directed and starred for her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson is born to a psychiatrist as well as a Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 1977. Her younger sister is Danielle and works as an artist. His father was Jewish as is her mom. She was educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending the Reform synagogue located in Alabama.
