Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and a musician who works most often in Tamil and Malayalam movies that are based on the Tamil language. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as a lawyer for the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sister of a researcher assistant from Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born close to Chennai, attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. She has said that she was quite a geek and was psychiatrist when she passed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea was a classical pianist when she was just eight. When she was 10, she was in a Jackson Five-style group known as Young Stars which formed the beginning of her early musical and singing career. Additionally, she worked as an actor in the college. She also served as an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her professional career acting in the theatre, by appearing in Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She was featured in a leo advertising for coffee along together with the actor Shiva in the year 2006. She also acted in an episode that was retransmitted on Podhigai channel. The actress has also appeared in India. Her role was minor in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea to portray a lead character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vettaiyaadu.
