Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. In the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and she was the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was born at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. She and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone's interest in gymnastics began at the age of six after a visit with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman as coach until the year 2011. Biles, who won the gold and bronze medals in the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before her debut in 2011 with the elite category of the competition. She dominated her sport within a mere two years. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, and the extreme level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines in all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
